SING UP THE BASE!

Within motto: "Easier to praxis– Sing up the base!" Office for Youth of the City Municipality of Palilula began with realization of the project "Connecting the SME sector, the Office for Youth and Young." The project is realized within achieving the goals of the Action Plan for Youth Entrepreneurship, which was adopted in the 2010th. About this at the press conference spoke Boban Mikic, member of the Council of City Municipality of Palilula and Stefan Jovic, coordinator of Office for Youth of Palilula Municipality. "Office for Youth Palilula Municipality, is one of the two offices operating in the city, represents a part of the organization of local self government and as such promotes the work with young people and provides support to young people. Achieving cooperation with associations of citizens, student organizations, informal groups, the parliament of the students, educational institutions and institutions dealing with young and youth- highlighted member of the Council Mikic. The main goal of this project is to create a database of entrepreneurs on the one hand and a young person, on the other. All this will be available on the web sites and www.palilula.eu  and www.mladipalilulanis.com as and by e-mail kzmpalilulanis@gmail.com.

Our target groups are young people living in the Palilula Municipality and the City of Nis - Stefan Jovic said. We want to provide through this project to young people the opportunity to volunteer (the relevant laws); for information on occupations (consideration of future work for high school students for a better orientation of their future); establishment of youth mailing list for notification of various seminars, trainings, opportunities that arise in the environment. It will be formed and the mailing list to notify the company about programs and subsidies for employment, the needs of SME sector for human resources or training for workers / unemployed.

According to Jovic, in the initial phase of the realization of the project will included 40 companies and institutions (both private and public sector). Over the long term plan is to expand the database and the inclusion of a greater number of occupations.

The main financier of the project is USAID PPES program, as well as the City Municipality of Palilula.
